article Volkswagen has developed an app that makes it easy to install stereo in a vehicle, thanks to a software update to the vehicle’s computer.
The app, called AutoStereo, can be downloaded from the App Store for $0.99 or can be purchased from a Volkswagen dealership, where the price drops to $0,499.
The $499 app allows owners to connect a stereo system from the dashboard, and the car’s computer will start the installation process, according to the Volkswagen website.
The new version of the app adds new features, such as the ability to configure the audio, and adds a map that shows where the stereo can be installed.
It can also display the stereo’s volume and input settings.
The car is connected to the system through an infrared remote control, which allows drivers to select different modes of operation.
The software has been downloaded more than 100,000 times.
